Course Description This is the first course in the CS350 series. The objective of this course is to provide students with an overview of emerging systems and technologies that are critical to designing a variety of distributed systems. This course focuses on the hardware/software co-design of computer systems using a pragmatic approach in which all the systems’ components are designed by selecting appropriate hardware and software technologies, and developing code for them by using formal verification tools.
