Data-Based Policing Strategies (CJ347) The course is designed to provide an overview of the current state-of-the-art in the field of data analytics and to discuss what can be learned from the analysis of large-scale data sources. These analyses are needed by all law enforcement agencies with a mission to keep citizens safe, and they are particularly important in relation to crime prevention and community safety. The course will use real-life case studies, in-depth interviews with police practitioners, as well as relevant literature.
