at the University of Cincinnati Center for Creative Writing. In this course we read and discuss short stories by contemporary authors, including Gary Shteyngart, Richard Ford, John Updike, and Jane Smiley. We also participate in readings and discussions on writers who are frequently taught in the fiction workshop. Write a 500 word journal entry each week that discusses the short story you have read or are reading.
