1) This course is designed to introduce students to the learning strategies that will be useful to them as they strive for academic success and personal success. They will learn how to identify and manage their learning needs, evaluate performance, analyze outcomes, and make adjustments in the classroom. They will also be given opportunities to develop self-regulated learning skills which will enable them to become more successful learners.

The purpose of this course is to teach the student how to implement strategies that improve learning and retention of course content. The key topics are:
