A graduate seminar in Shakespeare and Performance. Teaching with a range of theorists, methods, styles, historical perspectives and performance materials, students will explore and critique interpretations of Hamlet and the “play” of Shakespeare. Students will be expected to give independent research presentations on topics in Shakespeare’s works, but also perform readings and respond to the work of others.
