is designed to be taken during the fall semester. The course can be taken in one or two semesters. It is a course in literary and cultural criticism; it builds on the course LIT295: Literature and Cultural Criticism (LIT295) to deepen students’ knowledge of literature, media, and culture. Through class discussions, students will explore digital texts in the context of their historical and cultural contexts. Course Description: This course explores the literary uses of digital media in culture. The class focuses on different methods of viewing and creating digital texts, including web sites, blogs, wikis, podcasts and social networking.
