Course Introduction for INT620 – International Corporate Finance (INT620) 3h 0m The course will introduce students to the field of international corporate finance, focusing on issues related to valuation and risk assessment. To that end, we will cover topics such as optimal capital structure, market efficiency, arbitrage pricing theory, asset pricing models, and the theory of investment. We will also discuss the role of reputation in an international context. In addition, we will discuss problems in international mergers and acquisitions
INT620 Course Description
This course introduces students to international financial analysis and the concepts and methods used in financial analysis. The topics covered include theory of corporate finance, capital budgeting, external financing decisions, international portfolio choice and international risk management. A primary focus of the course is on analyzing financial statements of multinational companies in terms of firm-specific risk factors and transferable industry characteristics.
