Course Introduction for HEA520 – Contemporary Issues in Higher Education (HEA520) This course introduces the students to the contemporary issues in higher education and to provide them with knowledge about the policy, social, political and economic factors affecting higher education. Student will be able to critically analyze and discuss various issues in higher education such as social change, multiculturalism, diversity, educational reform, ethics and sustainability of universities.

This section covers the basic theoretical concepts underlying the study of higher education, as well as current developments in higher education. There are three lectures per week; one per semester
