The basic methodology and concepts of a data flow language for digital logic are presented. The language is designed to describe the logic function of the circuit that can be implemented by a digital processor. Students will use hardware and software tools to design a prototype circuit using an FPGA or CPLD. They will also use data-flow languages to simulate and analyze their designs.
