It will explore theoretical approaches that are used to analyze, frame, and address issues of diversity and inequality in society. Emphasis will be placed on the relationship between theory and practice within the area of social justice education. The various disciplinary perspectives, as well as classroom strategies that may be employed to create a learning environment that is inclusive and equitable for all students will also be examined.
