This course introduces the basic elements of writing in elementary school. Students learn to plan and write a five-paragraph essay, which includes an introductory paragraph, three body paragraphs, and a concluding paragraph. Students will also complete a portfolio that demonstrates their ability to critically analyze fiction and nonfiction texts. Offered: Spring.
