EDGR950 – Dissertation in Practice Seminar III (EDGR952)

The purpose of this seminar is to provide students with advanced practice experience and assistance in the writing of their dissertation proposal. Students will write two draft proposals in a collaborative process with mentors. The goal is to produce a dissertation which addresses an important research question or problem.

EDGR952 Course Description

This course is a capstone course for students who have successfully completed all required coursework and who have successfully defended their dissertation proposal. It is recommended that these students already be familiar with the language of qualitative research and theory. Students must complete at least 10 hours of independent work during the semester in preparation for the final oral defense (EDGR952). The dissertation proposal seminar serves as a review of those materials which were discussed in EDGR951 and prepares the student to prepare his/her thesis proposal (EDGR
