Spring 2013 Course Description This course will provide an overview of the professional challenges and issues faced by leaders in the healthcare industry. We will discuss why leadership is important, what it takes to be a leader, and how leaders can develop and strengthen their leadership skills. We will also examine ethical considerations and problems that must be addressed in today’s complex healthcare environment. (3 lecture hours, 2 lab hours)
