Course Description This course is designed to provide an overview of the design, development and implementation of pedagogical concepts and content as they relate to distance education. The course will also include a discussion of emerging technologies in distance education including instructional design, web technologies, electronic learning objects (eLs), emerging technologies in teaching and learning (ETTLs) and new technologies that may enhance teaching/learning. There will be a focus on assessment of the technology’s contribution to the student experience and learning outcomes.
