This course is an introduction to research methods for students interested in pursuing research, whether it be for their dissertation or a job opportunity. This class offers an overview of the discipline of social science research and its key components. It covers both quantitative and qualitative approaches. This course will emphasize hands-on experience with the computer software programs MS-Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), SPSS, AMOS, NVivo, and DISCUS.
