Pre-requisites for COM399 – Communication Studio IV (COM399) The students must have done the following courses before enrolling in COM399. None of the pre-requisites are mandatory for enrollment into COM399.

The student should have completed at least 24 credit hours in communications.

The student should have taken at least 12 credit hours in college level mathematics.

At least 12 credit hours of the student’s major courses should be taught by a faculty member who has expertise in his/her chosen discipline

COURSE DESCRIPTION Communication Studio IV (COM399) is a studio course in which students work collaboratively to develop and produce a multi-media communication project. The course content focuses on developing the interdependent skills necessary for writing, directing, producing, and presenting multimedia works of original intent that are commensurate with student interests and abilities. Students are required to participate actively in class discussions, assignments, projects, and screenings. Students also write blog posts in order to keep track of their progress on their final project
