Course Details: The course will introduce students to the communication theories, theories of interpersonal and small group communication, and the theories of organization communication. Readings from Erikson, Lave, Westermann, Vygotsky, Rosch and others will be incorporated into class discussion. Students will work in pairs and small groups on several assignments to help them become familiar with these theories and concepts.
This course fulfills the Communication Theory Concentration requirement for the Communication major.
