This course provides an opportunity to explore the elements of communication that have been discussed in previous classes. In addition, this course will review the history of public speaking and examine the function of audience in interpersonal communication.
The class will focus on basic principles, features, and concepts in speech communication. The class

(3) This course provides training in the four skills of public speaking: listening, reading, speaking and writing. Specific topics include vocalizing, body language, eye contact, body posture and physical gestures. The course will provide the basics of public speaking including: introductions, closings and speeches.
