This class will focus on the major trends in homeland security and counterterrorism. The course will also provide students with the opportunity to be a part of identifying, analyzing, and debating potential new issues that might arise due to national changes in foreign affairs or international terrorism.
The class will include discussions on policy-making related to military action in response to threats to the United States. The discussion will also address domestic responses to potential threats from terrorism and other national emergencies. Class participation is required.
