Course Description This course introduces the research methodology of action research. Students learn to identify a problem of interest and to develop an effective plan for addressing it in the form of a collaborative team project. Case studies are used to introduce students to the theoretical, practical and ethical issues involved in action research. The required literature reflects both the current state of knowledge on action research as well as actual application situations. Emphasis is placed on the development of strategic thinking skills in order to enhance problem solving skills and decision making abilities
