The course involves Aviation Ground Operations Officer (GRO) level, low-level flight operations, airport ground operations and runway procedures familiarization with various aircraft operating in South Africa. Students who successfully complete this course will be able to: 1. Demonstrate knowledge of aviation and communications equipment. 2. Discuss safety and security issues that may affect the operation of an aircraft. 3. Apply basic aircraft maintenance skills and procedures. 4.
