It will help you examine different leadership styles and determine which ones best suit your personal style and organizational goals. This is the second of a two-semester laboratory course which focuses on leadership theories and case studies. Students will examine contemporary leadership theories, including: charismatic leadership, affective/role theory, transactional theory, transformational theory and situational theory. Students will work collaboratively in groups to identify current leadership challenges in their organizations and design and carry out a practical leadership development program for themselves and others within the organization.
