Have your parameters for identifying a high-performing or successful organization changed over the course? Why or why not?

My parameters for identifying a high-performing or successful organization hasn’t really changed over the course, however, I definitely learned a lot more in depth so to speak about what it takes to be successful, how to measure it and maintain it. The balanced scorecard is something I have never heard of before, I not only now have a better understanding of what a balanced scorecard is or how to utilize one, but I also now have a new strategy tool for performance management. Power BI was another tool in which I was not familiar with, I have used other programs for visualizations like that of excel, but never Power BI. I found Power BI to be very easy to use and helpful with the assignment that was given, this is also another tool and resource in which I can take away from this course. 

As a leader, what are some performance factors and future trends you will consider for developing a high-performing team and organization?

As a leader, I would consider the following factors and future trends for developing a high-performing team and organization, transparent with communication, shared commitment to the vision and goals, mutual respect and camaraderie among all involved, and an engaged leadership. All of these factors and many others are important when building a high-performing team and or organization. One is not more important than the other, all of these factors are equally as important. You can get more out of individuals if they are valued and trusted, if you engage and are transparent with your communication. It takes a team to build a high-performing organization, therefore it is important to build a high-performing team first.
