two separate reports.

1. I want you to analyze the data about the scheduled case duration vs actual case duration. I want you to create a report in either PPT or word document showing clear and concise report pertaining to the actual and schedule case duration. A report that is easy to understand. Please also include the situation, statement of the problem and suggestions/recommendations.

Situation/Problem: There is a significant delays in the cases following the first and second case of the day because the surgeons are scheduling the case for example 2 hours but the actual case will last 4-5 hours which will result in significant delays for the following cases in that room.

Recommendation: Decrease the block time from 6pm to 4pm. Take note of those surgeons who are inconsistent of there schedule and actual time. Present the data to the surgeons to be more accurate in there schedule vs actual time to prevent significant delays to to other surgeons which result to decreased patient satisfaction, delayed scheduled cases and staffing issues.

2. I want you to analyze the data about night shift and weekend cases done. I want you to create a report in either PPT or word document showing clear and concise report pertaining to the night shift and weekend cases done. A report that is easy to understand. Please also include the situation, statement of the problem and suggestions/recommendations.

Situation/problem: Weekends/holidays and night shifts should be doing emergency cases ONLY. In the data provided, surgeons are booking non emergent cases as emergent for them to get their cases done which will result in staffing issues and delays in real emergent cases. Improper use of emergency case ONLY days has been rampant and these cases are as follows: (ill do this part here)

Recommendation: We should have a dedicated panel who we can call to consult/verify the legitimacy of the emergency cases being booked. We should have a meeting with the chair of each service to ask for there advice on how we can prevent this from happening and what cases are considered emergent.
