We talked about business aircraft sales in Week 11 and 12. As we learned from Week 11, salespeople should be familiar with the characteristics of different types of business aircraft. In this assignment, you need to:

1) select one business aircraft or aircraft series (either listed in the textbook or not), such as Cessna 172, Piper’s Seminole, King Air’s 1900 airliner, Gulfstream V, or Bombardier Global Express (these are just some examples, you can pick other business aircraft as well)

2) do some research and learn a little more about the selected business aircraft, and

3) write an essay about your selected business aircraft. The essay should at least include:

    • The development history
    • The specifications (such as number of crew members required, passenger capacity, gross weight, engine type, cruise speed, range, etc. Technical parameters and facts you may care about an aircraft)
    • The strengths and weakness (if applicable)
    • The applicability of the business aircraft to different weather, airports, and trip range
    • Your own thoughts about this business aircraft after learning all the information about it (anything is welcomed here, no limitation)

Format Requirements

A title page with the title (which is the name of your selected aircraft) and your name on it is required (as the first page).

A reference page is required at the end of the essay.

2 – 4 pages paper (excluding title page/references).

Use APA 6th edition format for in-text citations, references, tables, and figures.
