1. No previous knowledge of the subject matter is necessary. The course will introduce and develop the knowledge of sustainable design techniques for a range of building types, projects and applications. 2. Students should have an understanding of basic thermodynamics and heat transfer principles, and be familiar with common energy auditing techniques. Some prior knowledge in these areas would be an advantage.
3. A working knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel) is recommended.
