An introduction to concepts and skills involved in the technical aspects of criminal justice. Includes such topics as electronic surveillance, investigative interviewing techniques, case documentation, computer forensics, standard operating procedures for use in law enforcement agencies and correctional facilities. The course is designed to familiarize students with the equipment used in criminal justice investigations and other applicable methods of collecting evidence.
