for The University of Texas at Dallas 1st Semester Fall 2012 This course is a study of the law and policy associated with public policy and the politics of advocacy. Topics include how government regulates the economy, health care, consumer protection, education, human rights, environmental issues, labor markets, natural resources and conflict resolution. The students will also study in detail the ways in which they can apply what they learn in this course to everyday life.
