address another social media concern W r i t i n g

(This is a team project, 2 student in 1 group, the question that I picked is:

  • Should professionals be cautious in their use of social media? Why)

Introduction to Assignment

At the beginning of this course, you did a Knovio presentation at a networking event. Gaining new clients is important, but keeping all your clients, both new and existing, is also important. Staying in touch with your clients can be accomplished by writing an occasional (monthly or quarterly) blog. If you provide your clients with something extra, useful information, they will be grateful and probably reward you with more business.

This week we read about social media and E-communication. Your clients will be interested in reading about professional social media usage. In fact, this is a topic of interest to almost everyone.

Assignment Instructions

Your team (teams will be randomly generated by Canvas) will produce one document for one grade that addresses the questions below.

You can make the blog a personal narrative (your experiences with social media) that you want to share with your clients, or you can make this more objective, tips you are offering your clients.

Edit, add, delete, etc. as many times as necessary to produce one excellent, in both content and grammar, document for a grade. Use all the formatting and style tips you have learned in this course to make your document visually appealing. And, of course, use color.

Your team should make all decisions concerning the document before beginning to write and design. Your audience is your clients.

Answer one of the following questions or address another social media concern your team thinks is important.

  • How and when should professionals use social media? Give tips and pointers.
  • Should professionals be cautious in their use of social media? Why

Your blog should be 600 words maximum. You can use a template if you wish.

Please be mindful of accidental plagiarism. Your blog might be selected to go through plagiarism software, and you are all aware of the penalty for plagiarism. See the syllabus if you are unsure.
